So … yesterday I was mostly creating little 6×4 greeting cards using Lee’s amazing Icon artwork. Originally the artwork was created for our Tshirts (£13) but we realised that they are also pretty cool in mounts (£15 for a mounted 10 x 12) or on blank greetings cards (£3). Each design has been hand drawn by Lee using an iconic image as inspiration, even the fonts on these have been hand drawn. My job is to trace and carefully vinyl cut each images. I blinking love them … what do you think?
On a recent visit to Lee’s home town of Brum he took a commission from the wife of one of his oldest and dearest friends. Sara wanted a portrait of her horse and so Lee used Bic Biro and coloured pencils to create this beautiful drawing. Sarah was delighted and told Lee it’s going to take pride of place ❤
So … my step son is a gamer nerd and so it was no surprise to me that for his second tattoo he picked a gamer theme design. However, what was a surprise to me was how much I like it. Bright beautiful colours … and sorta cute (oops … I don’t think he will like that I think it’s cute). I guess its pretty special tattooing your son and knowing that the tattoo will still be adorning his body long after you have gone to the great tattoo parlour in the sky? Not ashamed to say I had absolutely no idea what this tattoo was and had to text the Stepson to make sure I got the reference right. Of course it is Majora’s Mask from Legend of Zelda 😄 What do you think?
Lee recently created this spectacular octopus tattoo for a new customer recently. The lovely customer is a local lad with an occupation and love of all that is marine based in gorgeous Pembrokeshire. This octopus is the starting piece of a marine themed sleeve … what do you think …do you like what you sea?
So a week ago I was feeling a little emptional. It was 21 years since my baby daughter Abigail died after an operation to remove a brain tumour. 21 years without a little girl that I only had the privilege of having in my life for 22 months. Way over a year ago I had mentioned to Lee that I would like an angel tattoo in a similar style to the heart tattoo of us both that we have on our left thigh. Lee created the drawing and I somehow never got around to getting the tattoo. However, last week felt right. I clocked off work half hour early and my lovely husband worked late into the evening to create this beautiful blue eyed cherub with light brown hair and a sweet smile. Simply beautiful … for my beautiful Abigail. ❤
Lee has just completed this totally awesome rose on the neck of one of our regular customers. The customer already had an old tattoo of a swallow and some initials and so Lee incorporated the rose. Needless to say the beautiful, colourful rose definitely made our customer blooming happy.
