Pencil not stencil…

Customers usually bring Lee a photo of their tattoo request. Lee diligently reproduces their request just beautifully and the customer walks away happy that their requirement has been well met.  However, some of Lee’s regulars totally trust him to have absolute free reign. This is exactly what happened with one of our long standing customers who told Lee he wanted a skull and rose. Lee just drew it on to him free-hand. Great results for that extra trust in your artist ❤️

Lee saves the big day …

I adore a good love story and so when a young couple messaged Lee begging for some help I was immediately touched by their request. They had travelled to Tenby  to get engaged but the rings they had ordered had not arrived in time for the planned trip. They made a desperate plea to Lee to tattoo engagement rings on them both and despite having an incredibly busy day Lee stayed open later than usual so he could help the happy and very appreciative couple.

 Ahhhhhh young love huh ❤️

Patching it up …

I love to upcycle clothes … I keep my eyes and mind wide open for clothes I know I can work a bit of magic with! I love to appliqué, or patch, or sometimes just swapping the buttons … every piece becomes a totally unique one off item! Some, like these gorgeous appliquéd wiggle skirts,  head straight to the studio for sale to our customers. Others, like this cute rose jacket or polka dot pumps,  stay right in my own wardrobe.

What do you think?

Inky shoes …

So Lee came home from the studio with some tattoo ink accidentally dropped on his white plimsolls. He had only had them a short while and I commented on how he was always splashing ink on his clothes. The next day Lee sent me a photo of the same shoes … not with just a couple of splashes of ink on them but lots and lots and lots!

Certainly different … what do you think?

For the love of knitting…

So I love to knit … my beautiful mother taught me and my sisters when we were little. I always remember her knitting us such  beautiful clothes and then of course knitting for our children. It hasn’t been that long since she hung up her needles really! We three sisters have all had our creativity gifted to us by our mother.  Recently I have knit a ‘Trashcan’ jumper for Lee, baby clothes for friends, and dolls clothes for a dear little girl. I love this relaxing, old fashioned expression of art so much.  Inspired by all this I asked Lee to design me a tattoo that would represent the love and creativity of my mum and my own love and enjoyment of knitting.

I simply adore this …

Mamas and Babas…

Lee recently created this beautiful and intricate tattoo on a lovely long standing customer of ours. This gorgeous Mama elephant leading her two baby elephants is sooo sweet and represents our customer and her children … such a gorgeous image  ❤️
