Do you sell…

Sometimes you just don’t know what you’re going to be asked for. The studio door opened the other day and in walked an old lady and her dog (yes her DOG) …

“Do you sell hammers?” she enquired.

“No” replied a shocked Lee “and please get that dog out of my tattoo studio!!!”

“Oh sorry” says batty old lady “do you know anywhere around here that does?”

Luckily our customer who had this beautiful Old School, Sailor Jerry rose tattoo, knew what is on offer at Forever Art Tattoo Studio (which never ever sells any hardware whatsoever) in Pembroke!

Flowery Days …

We were delighted when a very special young lady became a brand new customer this week. She sent us a tentative message exploring some options and within a couple of days was sitting in the hot seat getting some beautiful ink wrapped around her lower arm. She has a beautiful smile which was even more evident when she left the studio with a tattoo she is so so happy with. Lee also had a big smile as she was so delighted she gave him a stonking big tip! There is even talk of growing the design upwards for a beautiful delicate and very feminine black and grey shade sleeve. What do you think?

Goodbye Dukey…

One of our lovely customers bid a sad farewell to his beautiful dog this week. Cocker Spaniel Marmaduke, affectionately known as Dukey went to doggie heaven at just 7 years old. His heartbroken daddy brought a treasured photo into the studio and Lee created this beautiful tattoo in Dukey’s memory … so sad but so beautiful!

Birthday Flowers …

My lovely sister adores tattoos and when your brother-in-law is a tattoo artist THESE are the kinda flowers you have for your birthday ….

Happy New Skull (part deuce)

I popped into the studio yesterday afternoon and found Lee having a quiet few moments between his customers. The huge huge skull painting he started a couple weeks ago seems to be coming along beautifully …

Woolly Woolly…

This week has been written off with the dreaded Aussie Flu … with nothing to do apart from cough I took to the needles … by machine and hand. I have knitted a pink Flamingo Scarf for myself which just needs some eyes, am half way through a nautical jumper using a 1930’s knitting pattern that I found free on the internet and also have a stripy scarf for Lee hanging off the machine. Sometimes creativity is just messy yeah?

With Wings on …

One of our customers lives at the other side of Wales but still travels to Lee for his ink. I have said it before (and I will no doubt say it again) that going for the closest cheapest tattoo artist is just false economy. Art that is going to be on your body for the rest of your life deserves true investment. We happily spend a fortune planning and researching a two week holiday and yet simply walk into the local tattoo artist and try to haggle a cheaper price for a tattoo that is a forever item. Our customer drove for more than two hours for his beautiful tattoo and the end result is a tattoo he can be proud of always ❤️
