It’s good to learn new things. Just recently I swapped an overlocker serger machine for my sewing skills as a lovely friend in our village had a pew bench that she needed covering. She also wanted upholstery piping around the bottom edge. Initially I was going to take the easy way out and buy some ready made piping but a quick consultation with the owner of the cushion ascertained she wanted piping to exactly match the fabric of the cushion. With the help of a You Tube video, and some fairly straight forward instructions, the piping (cut on the bias) was duly created and sewn into the upholstery cushion and some scatter cushions. The Moroccan themed, relaxed seating area looks absolutely gorgeous too!
I just love a challenge ❤️
