That’s Amore

I am very lucky to have an talented artist for my husband. Truly, I have never ever felt so valued and appreciated. Of course, when you are adored by an artist, you will become a muse for his creativity. I feel very lucky to have been the subject of Lee’s inspiration many times over. He has drawn and painted me so often that I am sure we could stage a whole exhibition called “The Artist loves his Wife.” It is very strange to see yourself through an artists eyes and when you look at the art it can be hard to believe that’s how someone sees you. I feel exactly that way about this stunning drawing that Lee created whilst we were in Rome a few years ago. ❤️

A unique Tee for a Strange Fish…

So a lovely friend of ours had his 50th birthday this week. He is known affectionately as “Strange-Fish” and I decided to make him a special, strange-fish kinda birthday Tee. I love making one-off T-shirts knowing that no one else in the world will have one exactly the same. I just love how it turned out too!

Oh and don’t forget if you want a unique Tee for a special friend, or special occasion, or just to be damn different, we can help!

Getting T-Shirty …

We just love making bespoke, arty-farty T-shirts here at Trashcan Emporium. Lee had always wanted to design T-shirts and really enjoyed creating our Icon range – we have some available at the studio for immediate purchase or they can be ordered from us via social media message or email.

We can also make one-off T-shirts by individual request …

We also have our unique studio T-shirts …

And we can even ensure the family are wearing matching holiday T-shirts just like this cheesy lot (who I love to bits) …

We can turn the design in your head into a unique, personal, personalised T-shirt …

Orders being taken for Christmas NOW!!!

Getting Shirty …

After a month of being unable to knit or sew with this damn shoulder injury, I spent this morning making Lee a cool bowling shirt. At school I had this lovely kind old teacher Mrs Bees who taught me sewing and home economics. I was once very unruly in her class. She spoke to me after class and was so sad about how I had behaved. I felt so guilty that I never misbehaved in her class again. So a nod to Mrs Bees for teaching me a bit of sewing and a lot of humility ❤️

My Mother’s Knitting ….

You may remember some time ago Lee designed a beautiful image of a ball of wool in a heart shape.  I had asked Lee to design an image that would represent the love and creativity of my mum and also my own love and enjoyment of knitting.  I wrote a post about this called For the Love of Knitting back in May when my beautiful, creative, strong, amazing mother had not long been diagnosed with terminal cancer.  She has since lost her courageous fight against this awful heartbreaking disease and so I finally took a trip to Forever Art studio where Lee created this unique and special tattoo on my thigh. I love it with all my woolly heart.  Remembering always my way …

Handy Skull …

Now as you know Lee is an old punk and his style and taste lean well away from the mainstream. So he just loves a day when he is able to create a tattoo that meets his full approval of cool. He absolutely loved creating this very unique and totally different hand skull tattoo … what do you think?

Bathing Belle…

I had a gorgeous, retro, flowery swim cap as a birthday present off my lovely sister. Blinkin' love it so much! I snapped a fun selfie to show Sister and Lee how perfectly perfect for me it is. Lee decided it would make a great drawing too! So I am now immortalised forever as a Bathing Belle. I just love being married to my talented artist ❤️
