It’s rare The Husband paints a landscape … but I sooooooooo wanted to have a canvas of our beautiful bay at Freshwater East. One day, as we were walking onto the beach, he took a quite stunning photo and happily decided to paint it. The finished piece is absolutely wondrous and huge … really huge. We needed a very large space to hang it on and some good friends of ours have just bought themselves a fabulous inn in nearby Lamphey. The place has so much character, with lovely bed rooms for overnight stays, an amazing chef (who I just know is going to cook up a storm) and a lovely spacious environment for customers to relax and enjoy. They were truly delighted to hang the breathtaking canvas above the period fireplace in their quirky bar area. We think it looks fabulous there and we would like to wish Anna, Greg, Victoria and Andy, as well as their chef Antoni, every success as they open the doors of The Dial Inn for the first time today. Good luck!
Oh and a limited number of mounted A3 size prints are available for £40 each ❤️

Been playing on my amazing embroidery machine and of course pretending to be one of the Bronte sisters, sitting by the open fire, patiently stitching my sampler (have imagination – run wild).
The result is this gorgeous grey fabric embroidery piece in a vintage wooden frame for that authentic look.
It is just £20 – can be picked up from the studio or we can send out to you if you add £3 postage and packing!
Oh and I can also make these to order with your own “sweet” wording ❤️
Are you batty about bats? This cool bat drawing came straight out of Freshwater East (not hell) and was just finished by Lee. As a special Halloween Treat we will sublimate this image onto a soft, white poly-cotton Tee for just £12.
Order before 31st October for this special price. Pick up from the studio or we can post it out to you for an additional £3.
Bats all folks!!!
I simply love how humour helps change perceptions in some life situations. Yesterday we had a fabulous customer at the studio who had a little accident with a carbide cutting blade and unfortunately lost the top of his finger.
A visit to Lee at the studio and the result is a quite wonderful work of art on the top of the remainder of his finger.
I think it’s a brilliantly smiley example of unique and wonderful tattoo art. Just love it!
What do you think?
So… it’s my birthday today and I always get very excited for my birthday gift off The Husband. He is so blinkin’ creative and always surprises me with something extraordinary and very unique that he has made me.
This year was no exception as I received this beautiful present created with the pyrography iron that I bought him for his birthday.
This stunning guitar is going to look absolutely spectacular as an original piece of art hanging on my living room wall but do you know I may even learn to strum a few chords in honour of the fact that this is the first time ever EVER EVER that my portrait has been burnt into a guitar … now how cool is that? ❤️
The Husband always says that if he can draw it then he can tattoo it, and given his drawings are pretty special then it goes without saying that his tattoos are mighty awesome too.
One recent customer tested that with a request for a tattoo of one of Lee’s fabulous Bic Biro skull drawings. As you all probably know Lee has a growing collection of skulls penned in Bic Biro destined for a coffee table book and which we have also printed onto our cool T-shirts and made into very unusual fabric. However, our lovely customer having a tattoo of one of the drawings … just absolutely class!!!
