I have been busily making us some new Tees for our forthcoming little jaunt. I absolutely adore this vest with a print of some art that Lee created for a Valentines gift for me.
It immortalises our first dance as Mr and Mrs, whilst still in the beautiful chapel at Manorbier Castle, to ‘Baby I Love You’ by The Ramones.
I am one lucky gal … and so to my beautiful, creative, colourful, kind, and now beardless husband…
‘Baby I Love You Too’ ❤️
So… this weekend I have mostly been creating cool T-shirts. I had a large order of staff/souvenir T-Shirts for The Longhouse beach bar and I also needed to restock their little shop with our fun Fresh East logo T-shirts (this little shop at the beach is our our sole supplier of the quirky Fresh East logo t-shirts). I also needed to re-stock the studio with our cool studio logo Tees. However, mostly I played with the sublimation printer to put Lee’s cool art on T-shirts. Me, my heat press, my vinyl cutter and my sublimation printer worked mighty damn hard let me tell you! But we are so blinkin happy with the arty t-shirts – they are a fab quality poly-cotton tee and with Lee’s magnificent artwork on the front are just simply FAB-U-LOUS!
My fav is the pink gerbera which was the very first, very sweet drawing Lee gave to me when we first met, and also the knitting needles in the heart shaped ball of wool is the drawing Lee made in memory of my Mam. Lee loves the Doc Martens Tee and the Eagle Tee but the possibilities of this are limitless – literally ANY image at all!
I think it’s a wonderful way to wear Lee’s art. We have a nice little stock now at the studio so pop in and you too can wear your art on your tee ❤️
What a lovely lazy Sunday I have enjoyed playing with some new toys. We have just got a sublimation printer and mug press which means that we can now put any image onto our T-shirts and of course mugs. Truly delighted with the first Tees and mugs coming off the press, one with Lee’s Bic Biro Skull drawing and the other with a very colourful studio logo. I still love the vinyl on cotton Tee that we create but it’s good to see the colourful sublimation Ink on poly cotton Tees too.
What do you think?
Lee spent yesterday coming up with some Fresh ideas for our T-shirts. Given that Trashcan Emporium are going to have an arty farty stall at the craft fare and dog show taking place at The Longhouse in Freshwater East on Sunday 6th August, he decided to give them the local feel. We will have a few sizes of each at the craft fare or of course you can order in advance direct via any of our Social media sites.
We blinkin’ love Freshwater East and we also love these cool Fresh inspired T-Shirts … what do you think?
Here at Trashcan Emporium we just love a happy collaboration. Quite often people have some wonderful ideas which we can tweak a little to bring their ideas alive. A young entrepreneurial friend of ours is designing an alternative T-shirt brand called Asbo Clothing. He approached us with a rudimentary sketch of an image he wanted for his range. Lee got creating and we think the result of this collaboration is pretty cool.
Big shout out to Conski and wishing you good luck with your new venture!
You must have seen those souvenir T-Shirts … you know the ones… ‘I ❤️ NY’, ‘I ❤️ Berlin’, ‘I ❤️ Barcelona’ etc? Well, a lovely young man we know has just started his own little convenience store in The Longhouse beach bar at Freshwater East. We just love small business and we also love Freshwater East, and so Lee has designed a really cool souvenir T-Shirt just for the shop. The unique ‘I ❤️ Fresh’ tee is available in both adult and child sizes and you can buy yours ONLY in Jack’s little shop.
My mother never ever swore … her idea of swearing was a very wonderful “Hells Bells!” She was a true lady through and through, and raised her three daughters to be the same!
Therefore, I feel I really must disassociate myself from the special Tshirt my husband commissioned me to make for him this afternoon, and if my beautiful mother is looking down on me then I have just one thing to say … “Mammy he MADE me do it!”
